What to include in a bug report
- Your device platform and OS version (iPhone, Android, or web browser).
- The app version shown in Settings.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- The time it happened (so we can find it in our logs).
Never send passwords, bank credentials, Plaid access tokens, or full card numbers by email. We will never ask you for them.
Delete your account
Open Settings → Data & Account → Delete account in the app and confirm. This removes your RoamSaldo account, your trip and expense data, and any imported transactions, and it revokes your card connection at Plaid so the connection stops there too.
If you no longer have the app installed, you can still request deletion from the web — see Delete your RoamSaldo account.
Export your data
Settings → Data & Account → Export produces a readable PDF of the selected trip with every expense, plus a machine-readable export of your account data. You can share or save it from the share sheet.
Card connection problems
- Confirm you are online and signed in, then try connecting again.
- If a card stays linked after an interrupted setup, use Settings → Card you'll use → Change or unlink it and reconnect.
- If your bank needs extra verification, complete it in the bank's own screen — RoamSaldo never sees that step.
- If purchases are missing, wait a few minutes: banks can take time to report a transaction, and pending amounts change when they settle.
Exchange rates look wrong or stale
RoamSaldo uses live rates when it can reach its rate provider, and falls back to the last cached rates (or an approximate table) when you are offline. Pull to refresh on the Convert tab, or save a rate from Settings → Trip to pin one for the whole trip.
Sign-in and email confirmation
Confirmation and password-reset emails come from our authentication provider. If one does not arrive, check your spam folder and wait a few minutes before requesting another — mail providers limit how quickly we can send them. Tapping the link opens RoamSaldo and signs you in; on a phone browser it hands off to the installed app.
